I passed my final theory test!!!! and i just took it once!!! yay~~~
i'm so proud of myself for sticking to the books the whole day. luckily it paid off handsomely at night for me, if not i'll have to resort to another round of dreadful mugging. eeeeks. at first i felt myself returning to the old studious pre-A levels me, but this feeling decays away as the hours passed. i've lost the momentum after idling for 6months. shameful me.... even my stamina's badly affected by the break. i once complained about my muscular thighs from volleying, now they're all flabby n....flabby...haha. okay, the point is, at least mugging still works for me. cus i passed!
i still can't believe i failed my basic theory the first time when i could've passed it had i prepared well.. a waste of money, that's what it is. learning driving is so not cheap ok...... and i have to go thru the same trauma of my dad poking fun at how lousy i was.......just the thought of it pisses me off. argh! oh well, at least i get to proudly stash the cert in his face today. what, are u crazy?! of cus i won't do that to my dad!!!! hahahaaa.... i just luffed damn loudly.
yar, i'm a bit insane. why am i talking to myself? hahaaaa.... anyway, theory tests are puny as compared to ... practicals!!! hai~ i have to conquer my fear man... and hopefully do some miracle like a 'one-time pass'??? i can only wish AND practice hard!!! people, have faith in me. and pray hard, so that i can 'long pang' ur to school or drive ur go shopping...hahahahaaaa...
***matric day on monday- yay~ but one prob, i'm hopeless when it comes to the details.... sian.

oh i'm a sinner!!
Oh i'm a sinner!!!!
Anyone has any precise and painless suggestions on how to regulate spending?
Or rather who can teach me how to not spend like i have thousands in my bank account?
How do you even resist the temptation of SHOPPING to begin with?!
Staying home's the most primitive of ways it seems.
Kaoz...what the hell is wrong with me and my greedy mind......

Ugly singaporeans
Ugly singaporeans & their distasteful behaviour....
did you read the new paper article about how some ugly singaporeans inconvenience the work of civil servants like medics when they're trying to save lives? i can't help but frown upon such disgusting behaviour man. if you don't wana help, fine. well you can just 'siam' to one side and let them do their job. but NO, because you're bloody late for work and your boss will, [as if 'to your absolute horror'] cut your pay by $30 bucks...and SO you cannot even allow the medic in. even if he's rushing to save a life, or something like that. yuck! you're so bloody ugly....disgusting, down-right cold-blooded! and to those who 'die die' must squeeze into the lifts and insist on endangering others' lives....you can go stab yourself. and i hope there'll be a dozen equally insensitive assholes out there to get in your way in your time of need. why? cus your karma says so.
that's just one of the examples to showcase the 'low-end' group of singaporeans. i feel damn sad cus i'm kinda proud to be one..... not in the ugly way though. you wana know why foreigners keep dissing us? that's cus even our own people can't help criticizing our behaviour sometimes. the next time we're too quick to defend ourselves when attacked, maybe we should do some soul-searching before pouncing at them. that's not to say they're always right. but it doesn't mean we're certainly victimised just because we're at the recieving end.
today, i went to this famous temple at bugis cus it's 'kuan ying dan'. ok anyway, i was there to pray lah, with my mom. i just wana comment on the appalling behaviour of some people... majority of them, sad to say, are singaporeans. and to be more specific, aunties in their mid 40s and 50s......i feel sorry that you're aging but do you really have to be so rude and grouchy?!
the way they push you is like as if you don't deserve to stand anywhere near them. and they give you that 'you're such a nuisance' look. not that it's super provocative but you'll definitely feel irritated right. and the excuse that 'oh, it's probably the heat, or the crowd or the....' is getting really, really old. so i had to push them back. there are some who repeatedly steps on your foot and refuse to apologise. so again, i either glare at them or shout 'wah lau eh'.....sorry, it's kinda inapropriate for me to do so but they should be lucky i didn't resort to head-butting.
and they'll even nag at you and can go on and on and on about it......just because you're unfortunately standing in their way. what about compassion and kindness???? isn't that what you practice in buddhism? i hope they're not praying to strike lottery, cus they're so not gonna strike in a hundred years. and there's the classic nightmarish mrt incidents. i'll leave that for some other time.
i'm not skewed so i have to admit there're many good people around too. but it just takes a few bad apples to cover the underlying better ones. and sadly, this is how stereotyping works.

plenty of nothing
Plenty of Nothing
my friends are starting school one after another and yet i'm still engaging in pretty much nothing. but this nothing means something cus it just about concludes that i'm not doing anything fruitful or beneficial [if i exclude reading straits times every morning]. i'm not too sure if i'm absolutely ready for varsity life, to be precise. yet all these while my mind is so damn convinced that i'll be good for take off.
it just occured to me that the period before school officially starts is the busiest of all. there're a whole lotta stuff to do and sign up for which if you don't constantly check the freshmen guide, may miss them out altogether. just when i, or every other prospective undergrad may even feel safely taken by NUS, we'd better be more alert before we miss anything. it won't take much to make ourselves realise that at this stage, a lot of things depend solely on our own initiatives.
take the example of tuition fee loans, health-screening or even the QET. especially the tuition fee loan part....the closing date is actually 15th july...which is about a few days left. thank god i checked the guide again. [think i'm just gonna read it religiously like a bible from now till august] i really can't afford to miss anything out. no joke man, if i don't get a loan, my parents have to pay more...and then it'll result in the shrinkage of my allowance..haha. and it all comes back to me and my money, really. lol. of cus there'll be people who finds it no big deal...they can just go to hell.... cus everything means a lot to me now.
to think that glyn n all can just start school...hassle-free and gradual...i kinda envy that. BUT, it also comes with a huge price...as in the PRICE, literally. i'm still kinda sour about the $52 bucks. but money buys security, that i must admit. anyhow, i hope they're tunning in well to their own varsity lives too...while i bitterly wait for mine....haha. let me just try to recall the no. events which will take place in this prep-month of july...
1) sign-up for tution fee loan
2) apply tertiary ez-link card n get a hybrid concession
3) health-screening in school
4) take the QET
5) sign up for O-week
6) maybe help-out for rag
7) *very impt* get matriculated OFFICIALLY!!!
....hmmm.....what else....
oh! a non-Nus related item...take my FINAL THEORY exam!!!
woah...what a list....and not to mention my tutoring.
let's just not go into details......

the aftermath...
the Aftermath....
5days of chaos, exhaustion, madnes...etc etc... it was like a mad-rush everywhere...hardly anytime to slow down. one moment we're at the forum playing lame games, the next we're seated before a row of guys engaging in some "speed-dating" thingy, and the next thing we know we're hurrying to the toilets to 'chope' cubicles for shower.
when was the last time i had time to actually sit down and do some deep thinking? i can hardly remember. i was close to dead by the end of the day...which, to me, was unnecessarily a bad thing. for the first time since A'levels, i felt such a great sense of belonging and utility...lol. not to say i was useless before....but more like my life's more meaningful during those 5 days i was at artscamp.
i hate cheering, and i desperately craved to disappear amongst my groupmates. that is the exact time which my insignificant frame can do charity for me, but unfortunately, as the strength of my OG shrinks, everyone became so prominent all of a sudden. but it didn't take long for us to feel comfortable around each other. before we knew it, everyone became so gung-ho and enthu [at certain points of the camp], but we were still pretty much cranky in the mornings. haha. and i bet we gave the most DUH-look when the yellow house ics started cheering away merrily... our eyes must have rolled twice in all directions. lol.
generally, artscamp is like the most entertaining and fun and exciting and whatever nice adjectives you can name kinda camp! no qualms about it...at least from me! >_<
honestly, fun is really an understatement. i've made great pals and took with me truckloads of fond memories....*smilessss*
hmmm it's kinda hard for me to narrate everything here about the entire artscamp but if you really wana know i'll tell you...haha. think most of them knew already. esp the cute councilors part...lol. ooops....nvm. anyways...you guys can visit the artscamp link on the right to have a better picture!
Og outing this thursday....yay!!!!
Gimme an A *clap* R *clap* T, S *clap clap* !!!!

One more day
Just one more day and it'll be goodbye to Accz. GREAT. i can't wait actually. and this time it's for REAL.
i'm not trying to be mean but working there hasn't been that fun these days. working should never be deemed fun anyways, you might add. but seriously, i've had my fair share of joy and pain in that place. i've said and done a lot, and i've retold the tales here over again. the ups and downs of retail...it just gets boring and frustrating after awhile. However, i won't regret it cus i realised there're people whom i've grown so fond of that i'll actually tear as we part. so sad...i'll really miss connie [my SISTERRR]. i haven't heard myself laugh that loud with anyone for quite some time. =D
on a more practical note, i think i'll start missing work as soon as my bank account shrinks.
SO, i started picking out clothes to pack for camp today. i was stunned when the clothes started piling up like a small hill. the funny thing is, the packing list looked so pleasantly short yet i'm already beginning to have difficulties deciding which items to pass. i was kinda stuck with the old idea that we can only wear sch t-shirts. that has to pass too since i'm already in uni and i will no longer need to abide by some dumb-arse rules created by dumb people. haha. suddenly i feel so liberated, so in control. see, lil' things like these make me happy. maybe it's because i keep comparing life now with the days in MI. like heaven and hell...
Anyways, i hope i can be in the same OG as either gracey or rong rong..haha or rather any familiar faces whom i'm comfortable with. and i hope i won't freak out in a single hostel room. though i have a reputation for sleeping within mins, i'm still kinda spooked by the thought that i'll have to switch the lights off and walk back to my bed on my own. i'm not absolutely terrified of the dark but i hate loneliness. besides, i have'nt been sleeping on my own since the day i was born. think i'll just try to sneak into someone's room or something. lol.
Oh, my oh my, glynis is sick AGAIN. like how weak can u be??? hai~ and everytime you're sick is not the mild kind. sad. which means i won't have a movie kaki for the time being. you have to rest and recuperate well. but it's ok man, you have a whole long week to do so. i'll be camping-away, anyway. hehe. i'll keep a look-out k? lol you should know what i mean lah..... in the meantime, you should get a pen and paper to jot down whatever nice movies are coming up which we'll wana catch. from the trailers i see these days the numbers should be quite promising. but that is also if our pockets allow.......boooboooo.....
till then, drink lotsa water and sleep well my friends. the weather isn't that friendly now adays. well, in case anyone's still confused about when my much anticipated camp is on, it's from 26th-30th june [monday-friday]. so no new entries for a week. if you miss me, leave a tag alright? aaawwww....i know you will..... wahahhahahaha!!!
lol...

it'll be back!!
great news!
season 4 of OTH will be back! that's really something worth celebrating for. besides, i hate the feeling of being left hanging mid-air with no answers.
another thing worth anticipating [to me] is the artscamp2006. i don't exactly feel excited about it but i just can't wait. it must be some kinda of pre-camp anxiety i'm experiencing cus i haven't been to any sort of camps [like this] for decades. the closest i've ever came to "fun" was the orientation camp in 2003. and i really don't want to talk about it if you know what i mean.
somehow i have this feeling that it won't disappoint me this time. besides, i'm paying 50bucks for it man! it better be worthwhile....at least leave me with some fond memories....
oh please... please, please, don't let my unversity life be that forgetable.....please don't let my memory fail me.......booo.....

i was younger....
Birthdays......do one exactly feel the overwhelming sense of maturity once the clock strucks 12?
no.
i still feel like 2 yrs ago...when my face was pimple-infested. cus at home, i'm still that childish kid to my parents and the ever-demanding elder sister to my sis.
nothing's changed. we still goof around at home, i'm still tyranous towards my sister. maturity in age doesn't and will not change that....at least for now. lol.
and i get predictable responses too. a very monotonous exclamation of "oh my god! you're 20 already..." then " can u believe it you're gonna be 30 soon?!" no i can't. and then they direct their attention back to the tv. hmmm....i just love how comfortable things are at home. we don't bear grudges even with the most biting or sarcastic remarks.
i figured that as we age, we'll slowly grow out of the blogging phase....not now but in the near future...when u find that it's such a chore, when u suspect that no one actually wants to know about you or when u have better things to do......but for now, blogging is like a kind of responsibility. because i know my friends drop by once in awhile to check out on me. because i know people care about how i'm doing while some are just curious.....though some of you don't leave tags i know you're reading.....some of my posts are ok, some i find kinda childish. i wish i could erase those immature contents but then again, it's all part and parcel of growing up.
Now, at 20, there're a whole lotta stuff i'd like to experience and accomplish....but i hope in my journey to achieveing them i can still look back and laugh at how dumb i was before. like reading my old posts.....they're really a great reminisence of how i once felt and what i was going through at certain points in time. it's good to have a history to fall back on....especially one which you yourself recorded......then i can always laugh it off and say "i was younger...". haha.

world Cup 2006
My Game Is Fairplay...
i used to think soccer is dumb cus it's like watching 11 or so men chasing and kicking away at a pathetic lil ball. now it has changed. i mean TOTALLY changed. i'm slowly getting hooked to watching soccer thanks to the numerous sports channels my dad subscribed prior to the World Cup 2006.
i must have been outta my mind man.....cus i do remember telling people tt soccer is so stewpid n all.....urgh...and i really never expect myself to even sit through the game till half time. so how did i come to this surprising conclusion? i think it was a few days ago [ one of the days which i'm off and has nothing in particular to do ]. at first i tried to read the LeeKwanYew autobiography AGAIN, but i think i'll never get pass 5 pages. it always has this hynotising effect on me. okay, anyway, i was channel surfing and i practically browsed every channel TWICE but i still couldn't find anything interesting to watch AT ALL. i wonder how glyn survived her days with just her tv. and to think that i have more channels on SCV than she does. then i stumbled upon #24, some sports channel and it was showing the start of this Brazil and New Zealand friendly match.
i sat before the tv throughout. it was a darn amazing thing, i tell you. i don't know how but it just seemed as if i was rooted there and now i think of it, i gotta admit i was mesmerized by the game. i even sat through half time and kept watching the replays n stuff. and towards the end of it when it got real exciting i just stood up in front of the tv. it's funny but i felt this great sense of achievement after that. haha.
so it occured to me that i should participate more enthusiastically this time round. besides, i won't know if i'll be that excited about this in 4 yrs' time. at the very least, i must watch the key matches. and i did yesterday. my sister the copy cat, followed to get root beer n chips at 7-11. so me, her, my dad n uncle watched the Germany n Costa rica match in the hall. haha....we were damn raudy man....unbelievable. now i really see more than just ball-passing. at least i pay attention to skills n all....but i can't say i'm a complete fanatic since i still don't know much abt football's history, the rules or whateva. and the guilty side of me reminds myself that i didn't watch it purely outta interest in the game, but in some of the guys. Um, don't get me wrong, i don't go entirely for looks. guys with talent are real captivating too. haha.... like Ronaldhino and Ballack...u think they're cute? no, but they're just cool. Very, Very cool. [being cute is a plus plus point though]
Conclusion: i'm so proud of myself for being acquainted with this sport. haha. and one more thing, i'm rooting for Germany!!! ....and a few others

a follow up...
okay, just a continuation/ folow-up to what i blogged yesterday.
about the dream right? i said i couldn't seem to piece them together. think it all made sense now. cus the baby who's sleeping next to me must be Lucas and Brooke's child. it must BE. and why was i sleeping next to their baby? haha...cus i'm their baby sitter!!! woohooo~~~ how cool is that? it's just like Desperate Housewives where this singaporean actress gets a small role as a sidekick in the show. she was acting as the maid i think.lol. whatever man. haha....
hahahahhaaaaa......hahahaaa..ha haa. haha.

one tree hill-ed
Now i finally know the meaning of “䏿¯’很深”.
haha. maybe you all should know better. i dream the weirdest dreams.
like yesterday night, i dreamt that i was one of the casts in One Tree Hill.
what's new right? i've always been this queer. even if i don't think about some people or something all day, i still get amazing dreams at night. and if i think real hard about something, i get better ones. =)
it's like a gift of some kind. isn't it great to dream of cute guys and all? haha.... but like they always say, dreams are more than often the opposite of reality. true true.....
maybe that's why i still don't have a boyfriend. i can only dream about it.
okay, fair enough. but the greatest pity of all is that i can't seem to piece the dream together. sianz. so goes the saying "you can't keep everything you want. especially what you want to."
i can only recall vividly that we were all sleeping in a dorm and i have a baby girl beside me. lol. and then Chad michael Murray came into the room....and all's history. not exactly what i'd expect cus i'll rather james lafferty. hahaha.....anyways, like i said, dreams can only be dreams.
i welcome more of these sort though.
even if they won't come true, it doesn't matter really. so long as i get to be happy at least for that moment.
everytime i watch a show i like, i'll totally allow myself to immerse into the plot. i'm so imaginative you won't believe it. haha. i'm sure some of ur are like this to some extent right? we all have our own sick-lil-minds which we won't expose to others so easily...
subconsciously, i think i'm beginning to crave for that kinda life. but i gotta emphasize again on the point that: i don't mean the f.w.b part. haha!!!
***i've been watching superband these days. my general motive was to laugh at those weirdos. but i gotta say that i'm kinda impressed with some of the bands now. like 迷路兵 and Soul... different style but their perfomances were really good. the rest are kinda duh...... and i'm also sick of the rapping n screaming or roaring....whatever u call it.

birthday prezzies 2006
*smiles WIDELY*
guess what? my first birthday preszzie i got this yr was from my lovely sista! as in my REAL sister....lol....she bought this one tree hill soundtrack for which i love dearly...wahahha...and a mirror from The Face Shop which i requested too...
oh well, picking and choosing birthday presents isn't really a chore of the people buying them anymore you know. since don't know when---- it has CHANGED.
i can actually recollect the number of times i literally squeeze every drop of by brain juices to think of a plaudible present for someone....even people like my close friends. i simply just can't think. but if you ask me what i'd like to have for a present, well, the list will probably be longer than that of the North-south mrt line. haha.
of cus i don't go saying " oh i want this, this this and this..." to everyone. sometimes i'd rather they choose.... especially those not-so-close friends. though i know my heart's crying "please get me that FOSSIL watch...!!" lol....doesn't it sound familiar to you? deep in your greedy little minds you probably have this wishlist which you long for but sadly, and always, you can only attain them yourself. hai~
though it defeats the purpose of a present wrapped under fancy gift wrappers [which also doesn't come cheap], you'll prefer to get something you like instead of a photo frame with small diamante hearts on its borders right. talking about bad experiences with gifts...YES, even your bestest friend of many donkey years can be lousy to some extent when it comes buying something you like for your birthday. [unless they totally...and i do mean TOTALLY hangs out with you like forever]. if not, the best presents should be found under your friend's "BY REQUEST" list.... cus personally, i'm guilty of such a petty crime too. when THE day draws near and you just couldn't gather enough inspiration. it can be disastrous...
and the worse of all is probably the delusion that you know what he/she likes. so you wana get a pair of shoes for her [but what size?]. i don't see him for half a yr so has he grown out of an M-size for Ts?? Oh you know so and so loves puppies, so you get a bag with puppy-prints on it...[an obviously WRONG choice cus puppy prints on bags is a huge mistake] but you still get it anyway cus you're meeting her in half an hour. and the most common tag-line you hear almost all the time "oh you can change the size if it doesn't fit" and some ingenious souls even offer the reciept out of convenience. how sad is that?!
why?!?!??! because it seems that "it's the thought that counts" pet-phrase became a convenient excuse to the world of friends these days.
now adays, who gives a damn man.....change, change lah....i don't mind.. no one really abides by such 'traditions' where you "surprise" people with gifts which half the time they don't exactly like them. who knows which pathetic corner your presents are sitting in your friend's home. not that i'm trying to demean the whole idea of giving birthday presents but sometimes it's just funny how it works. sometimes i feel sorry for the plush toys my friends gave me [long ago]. there's this thing called 'spring cleaning' every year so imagine my mom bugging me to throw old stuffies away and the thing is i actually feel bad and sorry for them. they're my birthday presents!! for some sentimental reasons i do keep some of them, no matter how much dust they collect. =)
the bottom line is----now i get to choose *smiles WIDELY again*
here's a few on the list...
1) a pair of birkies [don't worry, this is taken]
2) OTH soundtrack [did i just mentioned my sis already got this?...]
3) The Face Shop mirror [...this too]
4) Anna Sui Dolly girl...on the beach [ jiayi's take, sorry.]
5) a set of tarot cards [ jane n jan's already..]
6) an FCUK t shirt...light color...
7) gavin degraw's chariot EP
8) 3 pairs of earings from far east...of my choice ;P
9) an accessorize belt
10) buy me a good birthday meal. lol
okee...i reckon a lot of you will pretend you've never read this entry...*sobs*
and you'll probably be rolling your eyes in all directions......but don't everyone get to feel SPECIAL once every year??? at least i do.........*pouts*
....................... ....... ... .. ... .... ................. .. ..... .... .... . ...................
....now you even wana forget you've ever known me...oops.

it's all over
it's all over
It's amazing after so long
i still do think of you
i've been breaking the rules
promised to let you go
but i just can't do
So i cry, so i lay awake
everynight
and picture your face
but it's too late, far too long
i can't help it
somethings just won't go away
it's over for you
just as it was for me
but each time i tried i just fall deeper
do you remember what we were?
cus someday, if i could
i'll never cause you pain
till then
it's all over
It's cold and lonely out there
i'm yearning for your touch
it feels like yesterday
but in a flash 4 years' gone away
So i cry, so i lay awake
everynight
and picture your face
now it's too late, far too long
listen to me
i'm missing you so bad
i'm sorry i let you down
there's no way to turn it around
i don't need someone else
but all i hear is this
"it's all over"
It's amazing after so long

carnival day @ MI
this is kinda overdue but i gotta blog something abt CARNIVAL DAY @ MI since my fellow counterparts did the same. haha.

3 things i found amusing and entertaining:
....the haunted house. it was hilarious. they really need to try harder lah. the three of us [grace, rong n me] luffed so hard inside it almost sounded creepy to the people outside. lol. darknest doesn't scare people if they know what i mean. it's soooo dark in there we can't even see the faces of the "GHOSTS". n i gotta apologise on behalf of the 3 of us for stamping on one of their...whatever...we couldn't make out what 'it' was anyways. and did i mention that we needed assistance to show us the door? very funny.....i even disturbed the dead by answering a phone call inside. we were like "i can't see i can't see i can't see" through out...hahahhahaa.
....the band jams wer, uh, alright lah but if they're serious abt jamming in the school hall, the lousy pa system HAS TO GO. jacky did a great job saving himself from the not-very-impressive rock performance by singing some chinese songs after that...besty: stick to ur niche. =P
....the people i see in school....like the clothes they're wearing, aaawwwwww.....some really freak the hell outta me. think ur should know what i mean. eeeeeewww....and then i saw people i didn't like and didn't want to see, EVER. glyn n lirong knew i was running away....a real bad history which i hate to even recall.
i just bought $5 worth of coupon and i still have $2 left. all i gotta say is, my purpose there wasn't to spend at the carnival. i'm already done with what i was there for....lol. grace n lili will know. hee~ till then....i'll miss them!
went party world with jac n glyn later n we sang in the hall.... felt bad for dragging glyn to sing cus she didn't! she was sick n was busy making "wantans" with tissue paper while me n jac were singing. i'm ssssoooooo sorrrryyyyyy!!!!!!! i promise the next time we'll do what u like k? n get well soon pleassseeee!!!!

one tree hill
"i don't wana be anything other than what i've been tryna be lately..."
i was just wondering, if an American life is really like what it seems on tv. like what i'm watching now, those people live outrageous lives. they pregnate themselves in high school, raise their own children while schooling, sleep around like FWB [friends with benefits], cheat on their best friends then make-up, marry when in love [and believe me, at a far too young age], dating a college professor, commiting adultary when their marriage are on the rocks [or even before], fathering 2 sons...just to name a few. is it real or is it just drama?
i'd like to believe they're overrated but a part of me feels that lives like that aren't really a bad thing. not that i'm supporting the sleeping around part but it's definitely more interesting than anticipating sales and queueing at zouk.
though we do have small estates and towns here, it's far from what it's like in western countries. people know you by name even when you stay three streets down. here, i don't even know who's staying around the corner of my flat. it can be a bad thing though if too many people know you, especially when you don't wana get busted for screwing things up. to be straight, life here is safe, comfortable, routine.....mundane. anything else on the list above is pure taboo.
now why does it seem like i'm taking my life for granted? am i wrong to want something more than just being comfortable? i wish i had problems like the characters do, but i'd safely rule out adultary or anything that has to do with sexuality. what the hell....i'm still conservative in the right way.
hmmm...just so you know, it's actually a 'food for thought' after a whole day of OTH marathon.

A div Volleyball 2006
TJC LOST!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
aaawwww.........man......... how can that be?! the scores were bloody close though, and i personally think that they definitely put up a good fight. great game, the spirit was unbreakable. i'm sure all the volleyball fanatics who were present yesterday felt the same thrill of adrenaline rush with every spike and drop shot made. volleyball is THE game man. the coolest, full of poise and style....lol. i don't know about other sports but i'm standing by my fave...=)
i hope the Tj guys aren't that sad. [great pity]..because they did play well. and for the benefit of doubt to those who don't know why they lost, 3/4 of Anderson's team were repeat students. not that i have anything against them...but it's kinda like a handicapped game for TJ. a bit of unfairness as well, but still, a 5-setter game is darn impressive. *three cheers*
of cus, genius ol' me took video clips of the games here and there...they can well serve as a reminder of my passion in the sport. haha. anyways, HCI and NYJC's ladies' game was good as well... HCI's power spikes saved the day!!! beautiful....... that explains why most of us were at the edge of our seats!
besides the excitement n all, there are always jokers who try to be funny during the matches. let me just let you all in to a few classical ones...
1: the HCI guys were right above our heads and aparently they got sooo carried away cheering that they didn't realise their saliva are accumulating on our skin. so much for tryna put up with these over-zealous smarties... and when the court suddenly became silent, this HCI supporter blurted " do that sexy serve!" when his school team was serving the ball. he didn't expect the spectators to go quiet all of a sudden and everyone turned to look n laughed so hard....it was totally hilarious....and i was still wondering what intelligent stuff can come from bright students...
2: the MC of our school [ MI is the official A div vball conveyner EVERY year] said something like "please refrain from using any musical instruments during the game. musical instruments include plastic pails." how original...... our eyes couldn't roll further...
3: this is the most annoying part of all. this sickenning girl from MI who was a "mopper" as in the one who mops the court during time-out, tried to flirt umpteen times with one of the tj players. unbelievable. not once, or twice.....but EVERYTIME she was out to mop the court she tries damn hard to smile at him. we can't be more embarrassed with what she was doing. ultimate loser. i feel sorry to say that she's in my school. what's on her mind?! she's the undefeated champion for the biggest joker on court, in the game, during the entire match.
thanks for blessing MI with a new-found name "school of desperados". seriously, i think her self-esteem is sky-high. oh please don't tell me that's what my school's girls these days are made of: as shallow as a puddle of water.
alright enough of that, let's just look at some lovely pictures...

the taste of fulfillment
it's been sometime since i've felt soooo occupied. since the day i stepped outta my school [officially] i didn't think my life was any fulfilling. that's not considering that i earn myself a living temporarily. it's not quite fulfilling cus i have no idea where my money goes half the time.
talking about 'monday blues'..... i dread it. owing to the thought of tutoring 2 kids at 2 different places after work. what's new... mondays, to me, is is a classic representation of tire derived from routineness......
work. nothing much to say.......except that we're still secretly eyeing the suspect, though it seems all has abated. it's not that simple. the $200 has to be somewhere, taken by someone....we know. but who? i'm sure we do have our silent guesses. i'm neutral so there's no stigmas on my side. but i gotta keep my ass safe.....no doubt, i'll have to be extra careful these days.
my kid's english is deteriorating due to the 2 weeks break from tuition. i hope fever's not the reason for him to lose all memeory of what i thought him. in fact, i just witnessed an amazing household anecdote of 2 kids running around the flat pushing and kicking each other [real hard] and with the parent sitting calmly on a chair uttering gentle words of warning which are clearly ignored by them. how interesting. he not only don't look sick, he's actually bursting with energy. what a paradox to his behaviour during the lesson. i'll just have to widen my eyes a lil and he'll go weak. poorthing. am i THAT fierce? lol. i don't give a shit man. i have my way with nasty kids too... >:)
and then kid no. 2 in yishun......she's smart....but lazy. AND desperately tryna waste my time by engaging me in her "earnest" conversations.... the way she questioned me seem like she's really interested, but really, she's just trying to pass time off. the weird thing is i still fall for her dumb trap. when i, too, get carried away, i'd stop to ask her " are you trying to waste my time?" and she'll go " nooooo i'm not lah...." and this goes on like a vicious cycle... damn.... i hope she passes her math this time. <:(
the 3rd kid....[my sister!] she has an econs exam tml and she doesn't know a thing. she's smart but she really didn't lay a finger on her notes YET. marvelous. of cus i'll have to give her a piece of my mind before lending a hand. luckily my econs isn't lousy. and the concepts are simple. and coincidently i'm fond of inflation....so i sat with her for an hour-plus, explaining the concepts. thank god she understood.
think i've never spoke as much before in a day, not even my days in school......
another prob...i won't get my tuition fees till next month...shit shit shit. i want my $$$$$$
it seems forever to wait for it to come.....and the boy i'm tutoring wants me to tutor her cousin too......hai~~~ i need to squeeze time out badly.... Accz is still a responsibility i can't kick away now. i love the people and i promised to help. i'll have to keep to it by hook or by crook. this is gonna be a real test.
***volleyball finals on this wed..... im so looking forward to it!!! cus the girls finally get to meet up, watching the game we love!!!! cute guys, power spikes....tttt-j!!! till then.....

and then kid no.
***volleyball finals on this wed..... im so looking forward to it!!! cus the girls finally get to meet up, watching the game we love!!!! cute guys, power spikes....tttt-j!!! till then.....

f**ked up
this is so f**ked-up!
i'm so damn pissed!
i feel like murdering someone now!
for the 2nd time...the f**cking alarm at the Ngee Ann City store went off.
the best part of all.....this time i didn't have to run back from orchard mrt BUT i had to ask my mom to drive me all the way back from home.
it's a f**cking long story. i don't even wana recall the damn incident. let's just say the place is cursed. this is not the first time i've overtly proclaim my hatred for working there...it just plain sucks. i don't know if i should put the blame on the girl i partnered with [ the same girl i partnered with when the alarm went off the other time ]. but twice???? how's tt possible...something must be wrong somewhere.
damn it! and why should i always be the one who goes back?! SUAY like there's no tommorrow can.....
man, it has to be the shop's problem!!!!! faulty pos machine. messy-like-hell cashier counter. a puny space for a hell-lota stuff.....get a life man, the shop's only THAT small.....it's either they should revamp it, or please don't try to imagine the shop's big enough for EVERYTHING. it's really pissing ppl off. locking the glass door is another chore on it's own. something has to be done.
maybe those assholes should try spending a week or so in the shop to experience all these shit before they start complaining about our working attitude whatsoever. they don't know a thing and yet they act like they know a LOT. wana hire plaudible staff with their KNS pay rate. maybe if they sleep earlier and dream about it, it will happen.
the entire company is SO F**CKED UP. period.

smoked-up...
i hate the smell of smoke...it's utterly unbearable and disgusting.
anyhow, i had to put up with it cus it's my colleague's birthday party... besides that, it was a whole lotta fun. we went to this pub near the national library [ sorry, can't really remember it's name ] but the people who went are kinda fun n Onz...lol...can't believe i'm using that word. sound so lian-ish.
whatever, visiting a pub is the lian-est idea on it's own....hehe...that's to me of cus... this is not a criticism on anybody who frequents these places [ cus my dad's one of them ]...it's just a stigma of some sort that only uncles or let's just say middle aged individuals patronize them. the kinda songs they play over the karaoke system will be dominantly in hokkien. lol. so this was what i braced myself for...but i was so wrong, the place isn't that bad....in fact, lotsa young people are spotted, and majority of whom are my colleagues' friends...and the songs, surprisingly updated.
with that, how can i not sing a tune or two right? lol i don't think i sounded good cus i can't hear myself half the time...and the best thing is no one in particular was paying attention to it. which is kinda good. haha. i think my colleague was like the star of the night when the cameras happily clicked away with the blinding flashlights... FUn Fun FUN. though i didn't taste a drop of alcohol. haha. oh, and did i mention it was the first time i've been to such a place? what an experience!
i went home with 2 of my younger colleagues first cus we all stay in yishun....can share cab fare... hahaha!
oh! i wana complain about something!!! i just wana comment on the receptionist of a certain company which starts with M, who is under the HR department. her attitude totally sucked. period. if the seats at the reception ain't meant for human beings you should just lay an alter there with some joss sticks....what's with asking us to wait outside? that's like so inconsiderate and selfish. does she feel so dejected working as a receptionist that she has to take it out on us?! that really pisses me off man. you're just a bloody-puny receptionist. [i have nothing against this profession just that people with attitude problem yet chooses to work in the service-sectors turns me OFF!].
Connie and i starved for 3 hours before we finally get to eat our SUBWAY sandwiches. i hate the HR department....where sucky faces and rotten attitudes breed. *pukez*
