Listen to my blogtune

...Let's celebrate originality.

Don't we just love the SPICEGIRLS??

i do =)

i feel like a primary 6 girl all over again...

all that nostalgia, old-school pop, girlbands and Nick Carter-hair.

never TOO MUCH; never TOO OLD

i stumbled upon his facebook profile last last night. For the first Time, hahaha, i don't feel a thing. Oh wait, maybe i did... but it was an unmistakable feeling of disgust.

What's with all the AngMo girls and wasted photographs. i'm not lamenting because i have a comparatively normal or boring life, it's just that it only proves that when people change, they really do. sometimes, the changes are pretty unacceptable. But thank god they are unacceptable to me cus at least i won't hang on to stupid things, or stupid people.

Anyways, i've been sleeping like baby for the past few nights. =D and i'm eating really well =D hahaha... like it matters yah...

another sleepless night....and i'm having headache now. !@#$

what's worst? i dreamt about something really scary.

i dreamt that it's the end of the world!!! and i have no idea why we were using pillows to cover our heads.... maybe cus i was really covering my head with my pillow. lol. it's kinda dumb but i gotta admit i'm really scared of death. omg.

my eyes can hardly open now man...but i gotta accompany dear jm to extract her teeth. maybe i'll just sleep on the couch while waiting for her later.

i honestly, seriously need a break. it's supposed to be a holiday but i don't feel relaxed at all.

anyways, "what happened in Vegas" is by far the most hilarious movie i've watched, apart from "how to lose a guy in 10 days" which was from yrs ago.

Anyways, i'm loving myself a little more each day =) despite all the crap that's going on around me. and if you still have room, love the people around you more too... you'll never know when the world's gonna end.

Heartbreaking

It's Times like these you'll witness true humanity. It's not just the blood and death-toll that breaks the heart; it is love.

I'm not talking about the kinda love you read in your shallow fictional novels. Neither am i talking about those you see on TV where actors plot kisses on one another. It is also obviously not about the unimpressive 'love story' you and your better half share.

Picture this:

Rescuers were frantically digging for survivors at a province in Sichuan.
They found a woman crutched on all fours, under the ruthless rubble.
They examined her for awhile and realised she's already gone.
When they were this close to giving up on her, something unexpected happened.
She is still dead, but one rescuer heard a faint noise coming from beneath her.
So he reached into the debris and felt something warm.
Guess what?
It's an infant under her.
and guess what??
He's still alive.
Needless to say, they frantically tried to save him.
They did. He survived. Unscathed.
That's not all.... they found a handphone tucked in the towel used to wrap around him.
The rescuers found a message in the phone that read:

"Qing ai de Er zi, ru guo ni hai huo zhe, qing ni yi ding yao jian kang. ji de MaMa ai ni."
(Dear son, if you're still alive, please be healthy. remember mummy loves you)

IF YOUR HEART DON'T SINK AND KNOT AT THIS POINT I SUGGEST YOU SEEK SOME MEDICAL HELP c
us even my dad teared.
Don't need to guess, i cried like a loser...as usual.
And you still dare to hiam your mother right. Don't even doubt it when they say the greatest love of all is a MOTHER's Love. I assure you you'll regret forever more if she ever have to prove it to you that way.
honestly, what did they do to deserve these?

Happenning day out (with no photos to prove, sadly) LOL

A whirlwind of things happened today, or rather, yesterday (thurs).

Suddenly i feel like a pro in Korean again after remaining completely stale for the past, lemme see....ummm, 5 months??

Okay, what happened was i met up with GERALD SIM B.H. (hahahahhaaa) today to give him some crash course on Korean language before i go off to Korea, and before he does too in Aug. happening right? everyone's going Korea. And the ad on tv is becoming so contagious, like i can just close my eyes and the tagline comes whispering to me in the most come-hither tone: Korea~~ SPARKLING~~~

ahahahahahahahahaa!!!

for once, at least it's not only known for Kimchi and Da Chang Jing.... honestly, we really did have enough of Da Chang Jing, so why the hell is U channel relentlessly playing it over and over again like a broken record?!

Okay lemme just get on with my illustration, haha... so i was supposed to meet Gerald the DWAEJI at Cine for lunch then to Katong to meet girl jm after her work. i went taka early to take ID photos for my dorm application and speedpost it to Korea. Then as i was filling in the speedpost form there's this lady who barged into the post office asking for some bubble bags to wrap up her boxes of 'brands' essence to be couriered to Korea as well. then the counter lady said something like she cannot courier or send liquid products overseas, and so the spat started:

Lady (L): why cannot? i've done this before i just did it 3 days ago through FedEx they sent it for me, no problem!

Counter lady (CL): no cannot...we don't deliver liquid products over. it's not allowed. we cannot help you...really cannot...

L: i need solutions! why you keep telling me cannot? i've done this a few days back why can't i do it now?

CL: you go through Fedex we go through DHL, different...cannot. i think you must go back to Fedex, but i think it's not allowed anyway lah.

L: why you keep telling me cannot? you have 10 cannots in your sentence can you give me a solution now? what is the problem with Singapore post? this is ridiculous!

CL: (calmly gestures to colleague) cannot right? this one must go back fedex and ask, we use DHL so cannot. Sorry we can't help you.

L: (leaves in anguish with the bubble bags)

CL: aiyo, she just took my bubble bags and leave know...this woman ah.. Ridiculous! ask boss to return me the money ah, 5cents.

My comments: ......
both are equally ridiculous. CL is ridiculously rigid; L is ridiculously rude.

Anyways, end of that story. the Dwaeji sms me to change venue for lunch to PS! I HATE THE CARPARK AT PS. a few wrong turns did it for me so i resorted to parking at Paradiz centre. CMI. we were supposed to eat at Manhatten fish market but when i saw the menu i kinda changed my mind. LOL so we left quietly to eat at a Jap restaurant.

How ironic right? go Jap rest eat while i teach him Korean. HAHAHA..
and this DWAEJI has an issue with controlling his volume when he speaks. lol. he's like projecting his voice for the world to hear. like machiam his korean pronunciation is not awkward enough he had to speak so loudly. i don't know what to make of it man, innate talent or innate weapon (to deliberately embarrass the ppl around him).

After that i drove him to Parkway Parade to chill and continue to learn Korean at Starbucks. i didn't know teaching Korean can be so painstakingly hilarious. maybe cus my "student" is funny. like whatever he says sounds suspiciously VULGAR. HAHAHAHA.... but he claims that it's the language . lol. even my beloved jm who joined us later cannot help but LOL at him.

then for another part of the time we tried to find solutions to our Jm's prob. she had to prepare breakfast before 7am for the cast of 1028 film in the morning. like where to get food that early? then like mahiam we don't know how anal some celebs are... lol. but if i were to be paid peanuts to do saikangs like that i don't mind man. =) She's visibly worn out from the task but what more can she ask when she's working for Royston Tan? COOLEST if you ask me =P

So we went down to TM to have dinner. supposed to catch "what happened in Vegas" but Jm cher was having flu so we asked her to go home and rest. next week then...we're meeting up again on Tuesday to continue my "lessons" with gerald the Dwaeji. Hopefully JM DON can join us by then!

..and what's it with decent looking girls digging their noses in the car when everyone outside can obviously see them? really don't understand...we were in the car on our way to TM (dwaeji behind the wheels, btw..) and at this particular traffic light where we waited, this decent looking girl who's sitting next to her equally decent looking bf (who's driving), was digging away shamelessly, not even attempting to conceal her unglam act. like WTF?! we were starring at her like she was a circus monkey lor. and she didn't stop even when she knew we were right next to her. after digging she even played with her booger in her finger and GOD KNOWS WHERE IT ENDED UP. i hope it's not stuck on the door handle where some unfortunate victim comes into contact with. totally revolting. so out of curiosity we asked dwaeji what he will do if his super duper drop dead HOT gf does that in his car.

He said: "either she flick it out of the window or i flick her out of the car"

Overall, a FUN-FILLED day for me...and us! too bad i didn't take any pictures. next Time then! Man...tuition tmr plus car servicing. BOOBOO!

I am going to Korea...AGAIN!!!

This time, i'm going to study!

I've just got admitted into the Yonsei University Summer programme from 27th June to 7th August! ..That explains why i've been busy the past few weeks cus i was busy running up and down school to settle some administrative crap.

I can't explain how tiring and problematic the entire process was because firstly, we applied late. Secondly, we sent the unofficial transcripts over, which didn't fulfill their requirements. Thirdly, YY's away in Shanghai at the moment so she had ounces of trouble getting documentations done there and authorizing me to collect her transcript. I, on the other hand travelled to and from NUS several times just to get our dumb transcripts and i don't know how many emails and calls i made to both NUS and Yonsei this whole time.

Luckily, ALL's WELL and good now and YY and i managed to get a place there. So for now, we will still be busy applying for dorm and other stuff and i do hope this will turn out well too... everything's underway and we'll be all set and ready to go by June!! The best thing is the uni's located in the heart of SEOUL, so this time there will be NO REASON why i cannot get my hands on dbsk merchandise!

The first thing that came to mind when i got admitted was "i need to buy a hair dryer". No, they don't have it there but it's just a small problem. i don't know why it just popped into my mind first thing. lol.

Change topic:

If you've been following the news, or even came remotely close to that, you woud have heard the news about the monstrous Earthquake that happened in SiChuan. Honestly, much as i don't really like prcs, i really really feel saddened. 2 things came into mind: 1, I AM SO LUCKY TO LIVE IN SINGAPORE, which happens to be free from natural disasters, apparently. 2, THE WORLD IS SO F**KING COMING TO AN END. you can't help it. when shit happens vulgarities become part fo your reflex.

Good Good Good

jacky glynis me!

3 papers down. Goody. All 3 went quite well. Goody. haha..... it's the first time i felt so good after sitting for uni-exams...so i hope my final grades won't disappoint me. But chances are, if i think the papers are quite average, then there will sure be brainy idiots out there who think they're pieces of cake. damn. so i can only be happy for awhile. HAHA. But i do hope and pray it's gonna stay this way until my last paper. screw the bell curve!

i bloody hell scratched my car today. poor baibai. wo dui bu qi ni. next time got chance i'll show you all. don't need to console me cus i didn't feel much about it. HAHA. i'd like to admit very honestly that i'm quite a lousy driver... so quote me and hop on if you have a good insurance coverage. or your other option: laugh at me quietly in your heart.

But, i realised something. not that i'm modeling after my dad but i really think there's some element of suayness whenever i change something in my car. pisses me off big time...like there's some evil, unexplainable kinda "something" about changing things in my car. i hope i'm just being imaginative. but before you're really convinced that my logic is photocopied from my dad's, i wana emphasize that i've totally reconciled with the fact that i'm a lousy driver. inexcusably....... =)

So i finally passed Glynis her present. i wana brag about it. i bought her a Fossil Purse!!!! it's not that expensive and i'm not bragging about the the brand or whatsoever, i'm bragging about the fact that this is the BEST present i've bought for anyone!!! cus it's something she NEEDS! haha... you should really take a look at her filthy lil purse man...lol. anyways, so giving is happy...also prolly cus i am financially sound at the moment. Not my parents' money okay.....i EARNED it through hardwork from travelling tirelessly to and from Queenstown TWICE everyweek for tuition. fyi, i stay in yishun...i welcome praises so please make use of the tagboard to shower me with praises. HAHAHAHAHHAAAA....

and great news!!!! COLLIN GOT INTO THE FINALS for some singing comp! good good good. i'm so gonna support him...either ways.... haha. anyone wana go together let me know. i can get tix for you at 10bucks! it's on 14June at DBS auditorium. sorry to say but since it's like held at DBS auditorium you know it involves $$$. banks are like that. lol.

ALL THE BEST, BUDDY!

Anyways, a Shout-out to my besty: you are already our ktv champion!

LASTLY,
